I had the honor to give a talk on my recent work at the Junior Theoretical Neuroscientist’s Workshop[ official website ] organised by the Flatiron Institute. Was great to be given the opportunity to get feedback on my work and reconect with some stellar junior theoretical neuroscientists.
The presentation inlcuded both:
1] a first part on identifying necessary changes (and plasticity mechanisms) in the recurrent network dynamics to explain experimenta contextual changes in neuronal responses (which was part of the work I did as my main project at TUM – see here Multiple adaptation mechanisms account for the emergence of prediction error responses in V1 ), and
2] a second part where I explain the observed representational changes in terms of inter-areal interactions (a personal project that I started after I left TUM – see here Contextual reconfiguration of representations ).
First part was work that started using the Calcium imagin behaviour dataset from Alle, and later after I left TUM I changed to the Neuropixels dataset to have responses aslo from PV interneurons, and the latter was based entirely on the Neuropixels dataset that contains also recordings from multiple areas.
